The Centre is Australia's most awarded convention centre having received some 89 industry awards for excellence in its ten years of operation. The Brisbane Centre is the only convention centre in Australia to qualify for the MEA (Meeting and Events Australia) Hall of Fame.

The Centre is officially ranked among the leading convention centres in the world by the International Association of Congress Centres (Finalist 2003 - 2005 AIPC Apex Awards - World's Best Congress Centre).

The Brisbane Centre is located in the South Bank Precinct in the heart of Brisbane.
